One last question then. Does the full name Greer Moodie sound ok?? I know the best middle name will give her name a nice flow, but on a daily basis she will of course be known as merely Greer Moodie.

Is it ok? Does it sound too glum, as some other posters have suggested elsewhere?

There is a vague glumness, but in the cool film noir private detective way. I'd kill for a name like Greer (Vivienne?!) Moodie.
