Benjamin Russell is an AWESOME suggestion. (Now I can't get it out of my head and I don't really fall in love with combos often).
Lucas Mitchell would also be nice.

I really also like Alec from your original list. I could never use it (my name is Alexandra and it's just too close) but I think it's a great form of Alexander and the -c ending gives it a dignified classic feel and yet has a little spunk and modernity to it.

Yep -- Benjamin or Luke. Maybe Luke just based on your last name being longer?

I think David and Benjamin are the easiest names to say. I really like Benjamin. Always thought Benji was an adorable nickname.

    Welcome to Nameberry!

To best suit a three-syllable surname, my recommendation is a one-syllable first name with a two-syllable middle.

    One syllable:
    Keith / Luke / Paul

    Two syllables:
    Alec / Alex / David / Lucas / Mitchell / Russell
