My Granddaughter has Arrived!

After 22 hours of labor, Ms. Adler Grace Pearson Wright made a her debut on Thursday, September 20, 2012 in a room filled with lavendar aroma therapy, soft music and love. She weighed 7 lbs 5 ozs and was 20" long. As some of you know, my daughter gave me the honor of naming my first grandchild, her daughter. My criteria was "it should start with an "A", be a name that no other child in her class will have and be awesome".....She already had a middle name, so one name was my mission. My daughter has her masters in childrens theatre. Stella Adler is an American actress and an acclaimed acting teacher and director, with a lengthly broadway resume. She founded the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in NYC and Los Angeles, and was Marlon Brando's first professional acting teacher. Other students include Judy Garland, Robert De Niro, Martin Sheen, Salma Hayek, Warren Beatty, and Mark Ruffalo to name a few. Grace is the name of a dear Great Aunt who recently crossed over. Pearson is her Daddies name. Wright is her Mommas. She is beautiful and perfect and already makes a lot of great facial expressions! Thank you berries for your help and suggestions. I am in love.
