Decided on a name. Stuck for a middle name!

We've decided on a boys name- Eamon.

However, basically without ideas for the middle.

The only person I'd consider honouring is an uncle, named Richard. HOWEVER I really really dislike name, so back to the drawing board..

We've come up with only one combination so far- Eamon Julius.
I quite like it, my husband likes it a lot.

    Any further suggestions?
Mother to three. Awaiting a fourth.

Caius Millen, Olive Mathilde, Hero Tabitha, Eamon Julius

For some reason 1 syllable names sound good with Eamon to me, but Julius is a great name.

I'm so happy you came to a decision! Eamon is wonderful!
Would you consider some name containing -ric to honour Richard? Alaric comes to mind. Eamon Alaric sounds great.
There's also Alric, Broderick, Cedric, Frederick, Merrick, Roderick, Wolfric.

Some really great suggestions- especially Eamon Alaric which I really love. Thank you for that one..

I also like Eamon Fox- does it matter that my other kids have much more old-fashioned middle names? Fox feels much more modern than the middle names we've chosen before.

The third standout for me was Eamon Gabriel. It just sounds honeyed and lovely to me, but DH finds it a little 'soft'. Will keep it on my personal drawing board, anyhow.
