Secret Guilty Pleasures... the names I love for baby #2

Ok, here are the ones I love but am too scared to admit to anyone but the name loving audience here of Berries. Either my husband completely dismissed them or they seem too "out-dated" or misunderstood to use.

    But I adore them.

    Philip - lover of horses
    Glen - well, forest glen
    Roger - famous warrior
    Donald - proud chief
    Jeffrey - man of peace

I think the meaning and origin of each is wonderful. (I hope I have them right)

If you were to pick one to fight for which would it by and why?

Thanks for your help! Maybe a good solid case could sway the jury on one of these.

Personally, I love Philip. It's very distinguished and I don't think it sounds dated at all. Jeffrey isn't something I'd use myself but I think it's a perfectly good name. The other three do sound very old-mannish to me, so I wouldn't suggest using them.

Personally, I don't see one on there that anybody should have problems with. Philip, Roger, Donald, and Jeffery are all perfectly classic names and Glen is a little uncommon but certainly not too out there. They're all great names.

My favorite is Glen. It's very handsome. My second favorite is Jeffrey, but I love the spelling Geoffrey much more.

I know of two little boy Philips and one little baby Glen, so those seem particularly wearable.

I'm not a big fan of any, but I like Donald nn Don, and Jeffery is close to Jeremy which I really like. I love the meaning of Philip, and it's the name of the prince in Sleeping Beauty which makes me like it a lot as well. (he's my second favourite Disney prince after, Eric. )
And I have an uncle Glen! Roger makes me think of Captain America which is good.

They're nms, but they're not bad! It's be kind of refreshing to meet a baby Philip or Roger actually.

Philip is my brother's name. It is definitely a serious, grown up name, but it's very distinguished. It is not a name you hear often, but it's still classic and not totally out there, which is nice!

I have a little soft spot for Jeffrey but the others would be pretty cruel in my opinion. Apart from Philip, which is still pretty normal and still being used today.

I'll say Donald just because my grandad is called Donald and I quite like Don. Phillip is probably the best of the lot in the sense that it's one of those names that never seems to date and I have to admit I love the shortened name Pip that can come from Phillip although that isn't used very often these days.

Have you seen Mad Men? Roger, Donald, and Glen are all characters in the show.
