I think we need a split personality name!

I have posted several times here for a girls name. My husband and I have "settled" on several names, but inevitably, we end up deciding it isn't right. Finally yesterday I think we nailed down what it is we are looking for. A name that has both a traditional, feminine side AND a quirky side. My boys are Cooper Elliott and Jackson Lewis.

One example of a name that fits both would be Charlotte (nn Charlie)

Help me - are there more out there??

I would say other classics like Josephine or Sofia work for you, which names did you like but ultimately rule out?
Josephine Athénaïs - Josephine Ivy - Myriam Athénaïs - Vivienne Josephine
Athena Beatrice - Beatrice Cecile - Eleanor Anne-Sophie -Myriam Beatrice - Meredith Elizabeth
    Ambrose Aristide - Ulysses Aristide

Girls: Bérangère, Bérénice, Honorine, Mazarine Boys: Augustin, Emeric, Hugo, Lambert, Lucien, Maxence, Yves

Might not even be your style but the first name I thought of was a personal favourite of mine Lenore nn Leni /Nora
I do like Charlotte nn Charlie or even Lottie, that's a less common nickname to Charlotte
Oh what about Harriet nn Harri or Retta? Not sure how this goes on the 'quirky' side but Katherine nn Kitty could work, the usually nn would be Kate or Kath so Kitty would be a nice alternative
Any of these what you're looking for? They're all I've got off the top of my head but I'll probably have it running around in the back of my head and might come back if I think of more
Number 1 Aunty to one adorable ray of sunshine Rosalee Jillian 'Rosie'/'Roe'
Cousin & Godmother to the delightful Erica Marisol 'Eri'/'Ricki'
Cousin to Munchkin & Monkey a.k.a Luciana Celeste 'Lucy'/'C.C' & Melinda Esther 'Lindy'/'Mel'
& Godmother to Sadie Bryn 'Bean' & soon to be involved in another little princess' life!

There are three names we have decided on and then questioned:

Isabella Quinn (I feel like Isabella is just too popular, however, we have been revisiting it with the nn Izzy)
Quincy Grace (A VERY sentimental name for us, but have questioned if Quincy is too quirky)
Grace Ellen (Not sold on the mn, and questioning if Grace is too traditional)

    We talked about:
Allison (could not find a mn we liked with it)
Charlotte (just didn't seem to fit, not sure I like it with the sib set)
Georgia (we couldn't agree on nn)
Elliette (I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this name - but Elliott is my sons middle name so no go)
Josephine (just didn't seem to fit)
Madeline (I like Mad -e- LINE and felt like most would say Mad-e-LYN)
Oliva (My hubs can't get past that bratty pig)
    Penelope (don't like Penny)
    Sophia (same feelings as Isabella)

    Hubby didn't like Lenore
I like Katherine, but we would do Kat.
Not sure about Henrietta. I will have to think on that one.

I like Quincy Grace, it's nms but it's not too quirky at all IMO. You could always spell Madeline as Madeleine which ironically sounds more like "lyn or len" in French but it seems most people say "LINE" here which I think is fine. Would you consider Elisabette or Elisabetta over Isabella? I know it might be a bit much or too girly for some but Elizabette Quinn or even just Elizabeth Quinn makes a good alternative IMO.

I wouldn't let nn's stop me from using a name, I think they come naturally but I like Georgia nn GiGi if you're still interested in the name.

I'll try to come up with list! Typing on phone please excuse errors and autocorrections
Josephine Athénaïs - Josephine Ivy - Myriam Athénaïs - Vivienne Josephine
Athena Beatrice - Beatrice Cecile - Eleanor Anne-Sophie -Myriam Beatrice - Meredith Elizabeth
    Ambrose Aristide - Ulysses Aristide

Girls: Bérangère, Bérénice, Honorine, Mazarine Boys: Augustin, Emeric, Hugo, Lambert, Lucien, Maxence, Yves

I like the idea you have here!

    Others you might like:
    Antonia -- Toni
    Mariah/Moriah -- Rye
    Esther - Tess
    Lorelei, Aurora -- Rory
Also, I know it's not a tradition name, but October nn Toby is another name that is "split-personality."
