I don't think Roman Leo is too much much, but there might be some reference I'm missing?

I voted for Archer because (1) Archer Leo has a fantastic sound to it, (2) I love Avery and Archer together, and (3) I don't see Archer being tied to this era. In my mind it's one of those names that is always around but not heard very often. I don't know any little Archers. I guess I can see the concern that it would follow the Asher trend ... it just seems very different than that trend to me. Roman Leo doesn't flow very well and I agree that it doesn't match stylistically with Avery (though I've never been one to be too concerned about that, frankly).

I like the suggestion of Rowan. I don't see how that could be confused as a girl -- it's a boy's name. If I saw siblings Avery and Rowan, I would assume girl and boy, respectively. I also like Leo a lot if that counts for anything.

Roman Leo ____ sounds fine to me. Archer Leo isn't any better IMO. Leo is a tough name to put in the middle. Is Roman Archer an option?

I find Rowan totally manly but people are giving it to their girls. So Avery & Rowan could easily be 2 girls, 2 boys, or one of each

Leo just has to be in there, it's simply too meaningful to me to leave it out. I thought Archer Leo sounded kind of cool, but yeah I'm sure opinions on this will vary.

I voted for Roman simply because of not liking Avery and Archer together. My vote is actually for Leo! Or Hugo......

wow, if Leo were in it, it would likely blow away the other 2. Need to re-visit that one as a first perhaps.

Catheyc - I've never met a little Archer either- I think what you say about it makes sense to me as it has been around for a long time, just climbed significantly in 2009 - probably because of Hunger games? Not sure. So maybe it's a good kind of trendy if it continues to climb...

I prefer Archer to Roman, but prefer Leo to either of those.

I like Rowan much more than Roman. Not much help am I?
