Mother of three teenagers: (1) Daniel Glen, (2) Timothy Austin, and (3) Rebecca Jane... all middle names honor family... 3rd generation mn Jane. (A second girl would have been Susanna Eve and a third boy, maybe Isaac...)

dantea, your mom's name and mine are very, very similar. I think my name is at least 10 years behind its time. As for my mom, she's Shirley and my MIL is Nancy. Aunts are Denise, Cindy, Yvette (which I really love), Betty, Carolyn, Geraldine, Linda. All of these strike me as mom names, but I think that my name is totally in that category now too.

To me, total mom names are Lynn, Gail, Nancy, Linda, Janet, Sue, Debbie, Barbara, Joan, Connie,
These are people who are grandparent age, would have been parents to young children in the 80's.
Their children who are moms themselves now are the Katie's, Jessica's, Jennifer's, Sarah's and Lindsey's, to name a few.
