    Nyx or Nox?

I'm looking for a name for a girl who is strong, brave, sometimes uncertain, stubborn and positive. I've narrowed it down to two names - Nyx and Nox. Which one is best?????

Nyx! She was the Greek Goddess of the night, and that's really cool I think. Nox feels more like a boy.

Neither is my style but Nyx looks more feminine. I think I've seen it listed on girls' name sites before, there's Steve Nicks, and it also seems like Nyx could lend herself to the nickname Nikki if she wanted (or Nykki, Nyxie, etc).

Nox seems very masculine because of Fort Knox, Knox of Brangelina fame, and also the vague closeness to knockers seems unfortunate on a girl.

    So Nyx is my pick.

I say Nox only because Nyx or NYX is also a brand of cosmetics and it's the first thing I thought of.

Not only does Nyx have that Greek background; it sounds lighter, more feminine, and more clever. I think Nox looks 1. incomplete (I want it to be spelled Knox), 2. more masculine, and (most strikingly to me) 3. like "noxious" and "obnoxious." Not digging it.

Nyx feels way more feminine. Nixmary is a name that I've heard.

Nox reminds me of Fort Knox, Angelina Jolie/Brad Pitt's son, lox & gelatin.

At first I was going to say neither, but looking at the other posts and seeing the history of the name Nyx I am going to choose that. Nox is very masculine to me, but a lot of people are using masculine names for girls now. I would choose Nyx so she would have a cool namesake.
