    Yes, I agree with looking at the SSA list. I know one Cordeilia who is in her 20's (and was named after her grandmother)and no Persephone's, but both are cool names. I also think that once you really like a name, you see it *everywhere* (there is some sort of pyschologial theory on this...when you like/do/went through something this pops up all over the place). I know 2 of my kids do not have first names in the top 1000, but, they are familiar enough names (well, Linus is ) that they do sound common enough to most people if that makes sense.

    My great grandmothers name was Roxy, I've never heard it since other than the clothing line. I like Anais, I've definitely never met one!

    I'm seeing Cordelia and Persephone everywhere! It is nuts. I will probably use them though. I also like Isadora, Guinevere and Seraphina (I see Seraphina everywhere), as well as Hermione.

    I LOVE Linus. Linus and Felix and Violet are awesome!

    But I do think Persephone and Cordelia have gotten to be very popular via web.
