If I had been a boy I think I would have been Christopher or Steven. When I was born they drew my name out of a hat. Other names in the hat were Emily, Willow, Brooke and Antonia.

If I had been a boy, I would have been Andrew, nicknamed Drew. My parents still ended up using it for my younger brother's middle name.

My mother never mentions any other girls' names she was considering. Apparently, she just had 'Lynn' in mind. Early into the pregnancy, she suggested it to my dad, who immediately told her he really didn't like it. So my mom waited until about a month before my due date, and brought the name up to my dad again... and he LOVED it. He was all for it, thought it was really pretty, yadda yadda yadda. He never remembered my mom suggesting it to him before lol. My mom kept quiet about him previously hating 'Lynn' until several years later when there wasn't anything he could do about it. Thank god my dad forgot, because I love my name, and it suits me! I like to tease him every now and then about the whole thing lol.

If my twin sister and I had been boys, we would have been James and John. (I was the firstborn twin, so I would have been James.) As it turned out, my sister and I were named after our grandmothers.
Mother of three teenagers: (1) Daniel Glen, (2) Timothy Austin, and (3) Rebecca Jane... all middle names honor family... 3rd generation mn Jane. (A second girl would have been Susanna Eve and a third boy, maybe Isaac...)

Audrey- named after my great grandmother
Bethany- We were very biblical at the time, maybe supposed to be Bethlaham?

But they went with Israel, just because they like it. :/

If I was a boy, I know I would have been Joshua, but I don't think there's a reason behind that either.

If I was a boy I would've been Jacob Nicholas.

There was no other name for me if I was a girl,
(which I am). I always was going to be Serena
(which, again, I am a Serena, just a different spelling, for
    heritage purposes).

My mom does admit that she was also interested in
naming me Audrina. My middle name is her
sister's middle name, & was probably set before
    my first name was.

If I was a boy I was going to be named Finn. My dad liked the name Tatiana, and my mom liked the name Tamsin, but I'm glad I ended up Erin.

I was almost Hailey. But my parents figured that was too popular, so my dad suggested Harley. They stuck with that for a while, until my mom figured out what Harley Davidson was...Hah. My dad also really liked the name Beth, but my mom didn't like it as a first name. So they went through a big book of baby names to find the name of a girl my dad had never dated. And thus, I was Amanda Beth.

If I was a boy, I would've been called Daniel. My parents adore the nickname Danny.
My mum wanted to call me Nicole, but our last name begins with N and she didn't like the alliteration, so my parents settled on putting Nicole in the middle spot. Now, my mum wanted to call me Daisy, but began to worry about my being teased, so she decided that once I was born, she would then decide on a name. When I was born, my mum was very tired but refused to go to sleep, as I was born a bit early and she was worried. Finally, she fell asleep, and when she did, my sneaky father filled out my birth certificate so that my name would be Charlotte Nicole, after him.
