Help, name wizards! Our baby girl Lake has no middle name.

This is a hazard of the name Lake, which we otherwise love. How do we choose a middle name that doesn't make her sound like an actual lake somewhere?

    Here are our criteria:
    - Should be a little more middle of the road so she can use it as a fallback if needed. Nothing as common as Elizabeth or Anne, however (as lovely as those names are).
    - Probably two syllables as her last name has 3
    - A Jewish/Hebrew name would be fun and appropriate
    - A L or R in there somewhere would flow nicely with her last name

Here are some thoughts i've had, though I'm not yet in love with any of these:

    Galit
    Libi
    Rosalie
    Elodie
    Sonora
    Eloise
    Arden
    Aviva

    Fresh ideas?

Lake is a cool first name!

Here are some Hebrew name options:
Lake Havilah (I really like this one!)
Lake Hazel (yes, it's actually a Hebrew name and it means "God sees" )
I really like the suggestions of Lake Yael, Lake Eliora, and Lake Selah!

    Other ideas:
    Lake Eliana
    Lake Serena

I'm noticing that three syllable names seem less likely to make the combo sound like a real lake.

From your list I like Elodie. Eloise and Aviva.

Of jesba's suggestions, I love Hanna, Dara, Rayna, Talia, Tamar and Zara.

    How about:
    Cilla
    Darla
    Elena
    Linea
    Nissa
    Rina
    Petra
    Thea

I know a girl named Lakyn and her middle name is Kaylynn. If you can't find a middle name you like, you could name her Lakyn and call her Lake if you wanted. It might be easier to find a middle name to go with Lakyn.

    Hope you find something.
