    Names from Mythology and Legends

Hi! I'm in the planning stages of a book, and I have decided I want to use some names from mythology and legends for some of the characters. Of course, I'm turning to NB for help for some interesting names!

I don't care what origin they are from.

I'd also love some astronomical names, too.

    Thanks in advance!

I have no idea what you are looking for, but I love:
    Athena.

    I think
    Atlas
    has possibility.

Aurora has already become too mainstream to register with readers as a mythological name.

    Apollo could work.

Venus is now a tennis player.

    Hercules

Hylas -- bing his story, Hylas and the Nymphs.

    Gryphon

    Spartan

    Troy
