Some interesting names from my family tree

My grandpa was recently sent some research on our family tree that his cousin has been doing. It's pretty extensive! I was very interested in the names on this list. There were plenty of Marys, Elizabeths, James, Johns, etc. But here are the ones that stood out to me along with the birth year listed:

    Lemuel Cincinnatus (1869)
    Marliza (1891)
    Elva May (1905)
    Cincinnatus Franklin (1839)
    Mamie Viola (1897)
    Harley Watson (1900)
    Olive Margaret (1906)
Thorwald Andrew (says Thorvald Anais in parenthesis)
    Magurite Issalena (?)
    Holland (female - 1876)
    Myntie Elizabeth (1893)
    Sibbie Caroline (?)
    Exie Vesta (late 1800s)
    Elois (1908)
    Quilla Preston (male - 1911)
    Dicy Temperance (1875)
    Bessie (?)
Nannie May (last name was Kitchens, hehe - 1901)
    Lilla (1877)
    Savilla (1922)
    Lonnie (male - 1885)
Amanda (was surprised to see my middle name over 100 years before it got popular! - 1855)
Priscilla (this name showed up multiple times - 1858)
    Leacy Ann (1822)
    Hampton (1782)
    Cyrus (1826)
Temperance (also showed up a few times - 1795)
Elizeabeth Eliza (I'm guessing this is a typo, and I assume Eliza was her nn - 1825)
    Dorcas Penelope (1838)
    Henderson (1775)
    Delilah (1780)
    Jarvis (1798)
    Ardelia (1802)

John was the first to come to the US in 1570 from what I read. His parents were John and Isabell, and were from England.

Also, my last name can be spelled with 1 or 2 r's. Throughout the list, it changes spelling multiple times. So now I'm not 100% sure what the "right" way is!

Mamie Viola is adorable and Ardelia is pretty! Dicy Temperance and Cincinnatus are pretty unusual as is a male named Quilla. Thanks for sharing!
    All the best,

I thought this too! I was kind of surprised when I looked it up and it was listed as a female name. Though on Behind the Name, it is only listed as a user submitted name (2 entries, both feminine). Some of my ancestors had some interested naming choices!
