    Does Abel fit?

Hi I've been here before re: naming #3, it's sooo hard. We have a girls name, but no boys names jump out at us.

Baby has a big brother Mason and a big sister Harper. Both names aren't as trendy/ 'in' /popular here as they are in the US, anyway, does Abel fit in? We've been thinking about it a lot and i'm slowly warming to it. I Also like Abram/Bram, but I'd want Abel to be called by his full name not 'Abe', although I am a fan of Abe, I'd just call him Abe instead of Abel if I wanted that.

    Mason, Harper and Abel?

For our town, our names are quite 'out there', if you have any suggestions feel free to help us find a name that fits.
I still adore Silas, but months of trying to get hubby on board has failed

I like Abel fine, but I don't think it goes very well with Mason and Harper. Abel has a different sound, different feel, and is obviously biblical where the other 2 aren't. On the other hand, I love Abram/Bram and feel it goes Very well with Mason and Harper. ^_^

Both Abel and Abram are Biblical names whereas Mason and Harper are occupational names. For me, neither "fits" but I don't think that should be a deal-breaker if you love a name. I would probably choose Abel for your family because Mason and Abram sound similar.
    All the best,

I think Bram goes better with Mason and Harper. It's more modern and distinguished-sounding, like the other two names.

This is despite the fact, I actually like Abel. I just think it's a different style.

I really like both Abel and Abram/bram. I think don't think Abel is to out of synch with your other children's names, they don't sound bad together. Abram Doesn't flow as well with Mason and Harper.

Thank you for the opinions, while I like it, I still feel like it's just not right....gah..too difficult! My husband is fighting for Arlo, but I'm not quite on board with it.

I like Abel with Harper and Mason. It doesn't really go but they're kind of awesome together and I like the idea of using something stunningly different with those two names.
