Ezra, Jonah, Avery and more! WDYT?

My friends from college have recently had kids and I thought this would be a pretty good place to share their names. I also found some names from recent birth announcements. A lot of them were interesting. Some popular while others offbeat. I'd love to know what you think!

    Boys:
    Ezra Arthur
    Jonah Blake
    Avery Silas
    Bryce Lennon (family name)
    Sutton Rhys
    Oliver Beckham

    Girls:
Jules Amelia (Yes, just "Jules." My best friend used this one. Not sure what to make of it)
    Leighton Rose
    Harper Lila
Remy Winter Grace (yes, just Remy)

I don't want to voice my opinion before hearing yours! So have at it
Mother of five. Expecting a sixth. Happily married. My children, my loves, my life.
    Hugo Foster, age 10
    Oscar Elias, age 8
    Daphne Indigo, age 7
    Elodie Paloma, age 5
    Scarlett Athena, age 2

Baby #6 has arrived named Atticus North!
Thank you to all who helped me make this decision

LOVE Ezra Arthur! So handsome! I like Jonah but not Blake, Silas but not Avery, Lennon but not Bryce, Rhys but not Sutton, and I'm not a huge fan of either Oliver or Beckham. As far as girls, I think Jules Amelia is kind of cool. I don't like Leighton at all, Harper is ok, and I actually kind of like Remy, but on a girl I prefer the spelling Remi.
Lucky I'm in love with my best friend... 6/9/07

I am not a fan of Sutton either or Beckham for that matter. I do love Oliver, Ezra & Jonah!
I think Jules seems kind of incomplete of a name but together it flows so I guess it's not too bad!

I love a lot of these! Ezra Arthur and Harper Lila in particular, but I am absolutely tickled pink to see Avery on a boy! I really love Jonah, Oliver, and Rhys, too. While I wouldn't use Jules on its own, I do like it a lot and I think it makes a great nn for Juliet, Julia, Juliana, and Julian. It's one of those few names/nicknames that I absolutely love on both genders. I have to say, though, I'm pleasantly surprised by Jules Amelia. I really like it, for some reason. I think Juliet Amelia nn Jules would have been a better choice, but I'm inexplicably drawn to just Jules Amelia.

I would have preferred to see Lila up front for Harper Lila, but I have to say as a combo, I like Harper Lila more than Lila Harper.

I definitely see what you mean about Jules Amelia. It's interesting but I love your combo of Juliet Amelia. How pretty!

And by the way, I love the names in your signature

The best boy choice to me, by far, is Avery Silas. I have Avery Jamison on my list for boys and I am really liking Silas. Two great names. I honestly don't care for any of the girl names. If the Jules was actually Julia or Juliet I would like it but I'm not a fan of Jules for a given name or a nickname. I do like Amelia and Lila and while I don't necessarily care for Leighton for a boy or girl, I think Leighton Rose has a nice pretty sound.

I am tripping over toddler/ baby Harper's in my college BA's. Funny because then I see their mom son FB complain they "had no clue it was so popular". But seriously, over the past 2 or so years there has been at least one if not two in a list of 20 or so names. I remember one time there were two Harper Grace's even. I had thought of it as "itellectual trendy" but after Posh and Beckham named their wee one this its going to be popping up everywhere.
I really like Ezra Arthur and the others are either ok or nms. Leighton is probably my least favorite name although I am sure she is adorable.

I don't really like any of them - they just sound almost like they were trying too hard to think of something unique, but to still be "normal" - I want people to dive in or not try so hard, you know? Btw, Love love love love love all your names. Gorgeous! And congrats on your 6th. We are adopting and hoping for more than 1 this time around so we'll have 6.

I dislike Avery for a boy. I think it is just mean. Sorry.
