    Axel or Alec

    Which do you prefer?

I have two little boys named Evan and Otto, and I'm pregnant again.
I don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet but for a boy I like Axel or Alec.

I liked Axel at first but now I'm thinking maybe it's too grungy, dirty or rebellious.

Alec I think it's very handsome and sweet and goes well with my boys names.
I suppose I worry perhaps it's "boring" but I think it will age better.

Before anybody suggests Alex, I don't like it.
    It's too common.

    Any opinions appreciated.

I absolutely love Axel, but I do think Alec goes better with your other two boys.

I think I prefer Axel. Alec sounds a little 80's to me, though I'm not sure I can explain why. Anyway, don't worry about what sounds good with the siblings - if you love either, go for it. And actually, I think that Axel goes great, especially with Otto!

I absolutely adore Alec, and I agree that it goes perfectly with your boys' names. What a beautifully-named family you have! Best of luck

I'm loving Alec, I think its sleek and handsome. I don't care for Axel at all, it sounds trendy and your description is spot on, not a positve image at all.that's just me, as I'm sure you will find heaps of people who think axel is great.

I also think alec is perfect with your sibset.
Maybe I am a name nerd
