Rosalinn? Anka? Opinions Please!

Hi Berries!

I've been looking at my list for a looong time and I've started to get bored of daydreaming of these beautiful yet repetitive names. So I decided to try to come up with variations of these names. Here are a few:

Rosalie--Rosalinn
Anna--Anka
Persephone--Could not find a good variation for this name.
Clara--Chiara
Agnes--Agnieszka (ag-nee-esh-ka)

Rosalie-Rosalinn: I like both! I love the whole Rose name family. There are so many beautiful variations I feel like everyone can find one they like. I like Rosalinn, Roselyn, Rosellen, Rosemary, & Rosette. Most die-hards will prefer Rosalind.
Anna-Anka: I like Anka better than Anna, as Anna can register as a bit bland. Others: Anya, Ada, Aya, Enya, & Aine (AWN-ya).
Persephone: Calliope? Stephanie? Sephira? Seraphina? Fiorella?
Clara-Chiara: I personally prefer Clara. I recently found these interesting varients on Clara/Claire: Clarie, Clarette, Clarabeau, Claramae, Clarity, & Sinclaire.
Agnes-Agnieszka: I prefer Agnes. I could see using Agnieszka as a formal name and Agnes or Agnie as a nick name. I've never seen Agnieszka before and I'm glad you posted a pronounciation with it. Where is it from? Ater rolling it around for a while and saying it a few times I can see the appeal but it would be initially confusing for everybody to spell/pronounce.

Rosalie--Rosalinn - Sorry but Rosalinn looks made up. There is Rosalind, Rosaline or Welsh Rhoslyn.
Anna--Anka - Paul Anka was a popular singer in the 1950's so Anka is a Lebanese surname. Try Anya/Anja for an alternative.
Persephone--Is this a good variation for this name? Proserpine, Antigone, Semele, Penelope, Daphne?
Clara--Chiara - Clarity, Clarinda, Clarissa
Agnes--Agnieszka (ag-nee-esh-ka) - The Polish version would be too difficult to spell and pronounce for most North Americans. There is Italian Agnese, French Agnès/Inès, Spanish Inez, Scandinavian Agneta/Agnetha or a rare Scottish version Senga (Agnes spelled backwards).

I love Rosalinn though prefer Rosalind or Rosaline.
Do you like Anke? It's a German name, pronounced like ahnk-uh. (I'm not quite sure how to write it out phonetically)
I always think that Penelope is very close to Persephone, sound-wise. Style-wise, maybe Athena or Thalia?
I prefer Kira or Kyra to Chiara. Maybe you'd like Carina or Carissa to replace Clara?
I LOVE Agnieszka! I would definitely consider using it if I were Polish or married a Pole. Maybe you'd also like Agnesina?

I'm sorry, I just had to respond - Anka means duck in Swedish. Just wanted to tell.

Rosalinn are pretty, but I prefer Rosaline. Love Rosalie too. How about Annika or Anya as variations of Anna? Persephone is very pretty, I agree with PP that Penelope might be a good alternative. I like both Clara and Chiara! I prefer Agnes over Agnieszka.
