Same here! As a massive royal watcher, I am massively excited and very glad it's a wee boy, which I'd been saying all along! I've been away at the beach all day and doing whatever I can for updates! When they announced it, random people around here all cheered and shouted 'IT'S A BOY!' Very happy times

As for names, I still can't help wishing for a Richard or Arthur or John, but I've got a feeling he'll end up a George. All fantastic names anyway

    Alexander Louis William George

Just found out that Louis and George are in William's name so we can scratch them I suppose.

I agree about Alexander, that would be a great name. Not dated, has great history, honours Scotland. Seems like an ideal name to me. And how handsome does King Alexander sound? I wouldn't mind a Richard either, but that might be too dated I suppose.

I'd say Richard is still classic, not dated here. I don't associate it with any time period at all! It's always been my kind of 'quiet outsider' guess, but apparently everyone is posting now, on multiple sites, saying they've always thought he might be a Richard!

Things are a bit fraught with Scotland at the mo, so I don't think they'd directly honour it in that way. I do like Alexander though- and he'd be Alexander IV I believe!
