Thread: Linden

I have Violet and Wynter on my middle names for girls list because DH won't put them on the first names list. I love them both. Waverly is on my list for firsts.
It does seem lots of people consider Violet but I don't know actually know any. I love Violet since Purple is one of my favourite colours and I love Vi for a nn. Harper has grown on me but I'm afraid of it's recent popularity. I like Megan and Natalie too.
Willow - all I can think of is Willow Smith and I can't stand her!
Verona and Delilah are on my middle names list as well.

Linden to me is all boy-- like someone else mentioned: Lyndon B. Johnson the U.S. President.
Someone else mentioned Lindy, I've heard of this as a stand alone name (not a nnn) and I think it's cute!
Winter, Violet, and Willow are all ok... not my style, but they're nice. I'd vote for Lindy with Violet as my second choice. Good luck!

I can see that you like nature names a lot. If you like Linden, go for it! I've actually never met a guy or girl named Linden so even though its nms I think it'll work fine.
Here are some other flower/tree/nature names: (just in case)
    Acacia
    Amaryllis
    Apple
    Arbor
    Aspen
    Aster
    Azalea
    Briar
    Cedar
    Feather
    Flora
    Forest-Rose
    Hyacinth
    Iris
    Juniper
    Lilac/ Lavender
    Magnolia
    Marigold
    Meadow
    Olive
    Prairie
    Primrose
    Rain
    Viorica
    Yarrow

or you could go with Wilhelmina to get Willa or Willow as a nn

I think of Linden as a boys' name.

I quite like Winter, Winnie is cute for a little girl.
Fave names: Astrid, Anise, Annika, Cleo, Gabrielle, Holly, Marnie, Mardi, Miranda, Miriam, Poppy, Sydney

I'm from Australia, so when I'm referring to popularity I'm using Aussie lists.

To me it sounds masculine, but it also makes me think of the show The Killing. The lead basically goes by Linden but it's her last name.

Do you like Willa? I think its still very similar to Willow but to me, Willa is a bit more feminine. I also love Linden as well and think that it could be cute on a girl!
