Baby 2 on it's way having name aversions

    hi

I'm due with my 2nd baby in Feb next year, we already have a 22 month old girl called India Neve.

so what i'm needing help with is a boys and girls name - we won't find out what were having. We aren't brave enough to go for 'out there names' but do tend to like some. I don't want themed children so countries and cities etc are out. My husband really likes Sydney for a girl, but i pointed out there'd be a theme if we did that.

My favourite boys name is Max, but husband is suddenly unsure about it. Indy would have been Max if a boy. And now i'm reeling from the naming process as I just don't love anything enough (and I love names!)

    here are my restrictions/guidelines:

    no place names
    no K names
    no biblical names
    no D names
our last name starts with a D and has 2 syllables
    nothing made up
My background is half Dutch Canadian and half British
My husband is from northern India (Sikh)

Just a quick thought... If Max is not quite right, how about Cas?

    Thanks for the suggestions!

August - not keen esp for a baby born in Feb
    Callum - friend's little boy
Cedric - bit too red haired viking meets harry potter for me
Remy - v similar to my husband's name
Milo - love love love this name but husband doesn't
Leo - love this one, will suggest to hub
Talvin - unusual it's growing on me. onto the suggestions list
Ross - like it but worry about the Friend's association
    Evan - friend's little boy
Corbin - makes me think of Corbin Dallas from fifth element
Nolan - don't like at all
Felix - loved but husband said 'if he licks my ice cream again i'll scream'
Malcolm - like it enough but can't picture my children with it. if that makes sense
    Cyrus - nope
    Theo - nope
Alex - my brother. love his name
Owen - odd guy at school
Emmett- actually really like Everett, as it's a family name, but is it getting a bit trendy?

My sister (half british, half norwegian) and her husband (also sikh from northern India) named their son Arvin. It's ancient english, germanic and the beginning in the sikh name Arvinder.
