Births from the North of the State
I don't usually list birth announcements from the North of the state but I found a site that lists middles and there's some interesting names on there. I'll do local births from my own city tomorrow.

Sort of expectable i suppose - a mix of regular, trendy, and a few "what were they thinking?". Ribbon? Balin (LOTR obsessed, eh)? Coulda been a lot worse!

The boys name list is more inspiring for my imagination....
Name for a future Rodeo Star: Preston Joe
Name for a future Outlaw: Jesse James
Name for a future Country & Western singer: Tucker Lee
Name for a future Banker: Lane Sterling
Name for a future Author: Huckleberry Liam
Name for a future President: Lincoln Kane
Name for a future Chippendale dancer: Ryker Ray
I know I'm awful, aren't I?
I'll think I'll stop there. Thanks for sharing, Dantea!
All the best,
Mischa.

I really like August Harper, Ember Marie, and Piper Kay.
Ribbon Flannery made me stop and go "Oh?" I kind of want to use it for a character, but not a real child. It's very memorable and just out there enough!
Llane like a llama? Poor girl is going to go through life with everyone thinking she's a typo.

I thought that the boys' list was pretty good overall! I was a bit less impressed with the girls' list.
I'm especially liking Emil, Conall Pace, Dominic Absalom (love seeing Absalom!), Augustus, and Lane Sterling. Samuel and Cecil are both nice names, but Samuel Cecil is very lispy and sing-songy. Huckleberry Liam is interesting. Not really sure where I stand on it, to be honest. I feel like I should hate Huckleberry, but I don't think I do?
Ribbon Flannery is interesting. I like Piper Kay and Suri May. Interesting that they used Suri right after the Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes divorce.
