Starting around the fifth page, a member named sprite (and later sprite97 as she has two accounts) starts posting very aggressive replies and posts page after page of articles about siblings killing each other (which has nothing to do with the topic of the thread at all). Basically, it looks like she created two accounts for the sole purpose of hijacking the thread and the entire thread has been going around in circles for a month now. I know there was a similar situation with the thread on circumcision and that that thread was locked as a result.

There is a way to determine where the ISP associated with a particular IP address is (some sites use that to allow or deny certain features, such as watching TV shows online).
