First time mom- suggestions and feedback appreciated!

    Hi all,
I'm a first time mom, baby name lover, and due in about 5 months. I have a list of names that I have loved for a while now. I would appreciate any other suggestions that you can make based on my list. Feedback on these names are also welcome. While I don't need a unique name, my concern is still that a lot of these names are rising in popularity. I just don't want 5 of the same children with the same name in my child's class! Or maybe these names are just popular for Berries??? I think that my style is somewhat vintage mixed with classic mixed with a little trendy.

    Here they are:

    Girls:
    Harlow
    Hazel
    Harper
    Olive
    Scarlett
    Hazel
    Finley

Also liking (but not as much as above): Adley, Camden, London, Ashton, Aubryn, Emmett, Audyn

    Boys:
    Everett
    Emmett
    Sawyer
    Weston

Also liking (but not as much as above): River (my husband thinks this is too "out there"), Pierce, Austen, Bridger

Any other suggestions and/or your feedback is appreciated!!!

    Tara

    Girls:
Harlow- It is okay, this to me is really trendy lately because of all the celebrities using it for their children
Hazel- I like this name a lot more compared to Harlow, it gives me an image of a vintage type woman who is pretty and classy
Harper- Same as Harlow, it is too trendy right now for me but a lot of people don't care about that.
Olive- I don't think this is popular at all outside of nameberry. If you like it, you can be one of the first to use it before it gets popular (if it does). It is pretty, but it always seemed too short and abrupt for my liking.
Scarlett- This is really pretty because of the Gone with the Wind linkage. I think this name may be a little trendy but it will withhold the test of time
Finley- Don't care for this name on a girl. On a boy it is cute.

Also liking (but not as much as above):
    Adley- NMS
    Camden- It is okay
London- Don't like this place name too much, but not as bad as the spelling londyn.
Ashton- For a girl? Too masculine for me
Aubryn- It is okay, but I like Aubrey more
    Emmett- Same as Ashton
    Audyn- NMS

My favorite of your choices: Hazel and Scarlett (Tie breaker)

    Boys:
    Everett- Nice, strong name
Emmett- Don't like the Twilight associations and the grandfather feel to it
    Sawyer- NMS
Weston- It is okay, I like Wesley more though.

Also liking (but not as much as above):
River- I agree with your husband, it is too out there for me
Pierce- I like this a lot
Austen- I like this one as well, it reminds me of Jane Austen
    Bridger- Don't like at all

Favorites of the boys: Pierce, Everett and Austen in that order

    Congratulations on expecting!

    Girls:
Harlow - I like it, but not as much as I like Harper, and I know Harper is considerably more popular but this is a case where I honestly don't care
Hazel - I love Hazel, I think it is gorgeous and beautiful and just generally a great name
Harper - I love Harper, it is on my current favourite list, its a bit different, and while completely popular (I class top 50 as completely popular) I wouldn't let that deter you since it is such a great name
Olive - I have loved this name for a very long time, I think it has the same classic beauty as Hazel and is annoyingly (for me) gaining in popularity
Scarlett - I don't like Scarlett, to me it sounds too prissy and posh and I don't like the 'Scar' part. I much prefer Ruby, or Garnet even, if its the colour connotations you like.
Hazel - I'm not sure why this is down twice...
Finley - Personally, Finley sounds too masculine, and many people say that about my name and I hate it, so perhaps I'm being hypocritical, but its way too masculine for my taste, I like the 'Finn' nickname, but on boys. And as a nickname for Finnian.

Also liking (but not as much as above): Adley- I don't like this at all, Camden- To me this is more of a boys name, London- I like this even less than Adley, Ashton- I immediately think of Ashton Kutcher so again, boys name, Aubryn- I don't like it when names have what I think of as 'unnecessary Y's' in them, and I don't really like this anyway, its too much like the whole Aubrey, Autumn style, Emmett - I love Emmett as a boys name, just not for girls, Audyn - Again its too much like Aubrey and Autumn and it has a y in it, and for some strange reason I don't like Y's

    Boys:
Everett - I think this is adorable, and I can see it as a name that would age well, also I love the nn Rhett
Emmett - While it is still adorable, I prefer Everett
Sawyer - This is one of my favourite boys names, I think it is a strong male name and would age wonderfully
Weston - I'm not really a fan on this name, or the nn West, it's just not really my style

Also liking (but not as much as above): River (my husband thinks this is too "out there")- River is cute, maybe use it as a middle name as a compromise?, Pierce- I prefer the spelling Piers, but it's still cute, Austen - I prefer the spelling Austin, and then I'm still not crazy about it, Bridger - I don't really like this, but it's not really my style.

Harlow - feel this is going to surge in popularity, unfortunately.
Hazel - this is a sweet universal name that suits a baby girl all the way upto an elegant lady!
Harper - another name that 's on its way up, not as nice as Harlow IMO
Olive - love this shame so much, it's sweet with a bit of spunk.
Scarlett - very chic and elegant. Nice literary reference Also.
Finley - don't care for this too much on a girl

    Favourites from your lists:
    Olive and sawyer/Austen
Top Girls: Tessa, Audrey, Joyce nn Joy, Harriet, Lynn, Regina nn Reggie, Diana, Ivy, Anthea NN Thea
Top Boys: Theodore nn Theo, Quade, Miles, Cormac, Keith, Isaac, Jude, Flynn, Max.

I'm due around the same time and have the same naming style as you

Hazel and Emmett on our list...so, of course, I LOVE those ideas

I also really like Harlow and Sawyer (which you could use for a boy or girl...love it for either, I have friends and co-workers who have used it for both)
