unusual elegant names with spunky nicknames?

I find it a challenge to find beautiful elegant girls names with nicknames that I love as much as the full version inspite of having a very different feel! I want my baby to have a flexible name with options I like nicknames that work as stand alone names...If they're a bit quirky or sweet all the better! Here are some of my favourites...would love to hear your thoughts or favourites from the list. Also can you think of any other good names in a similar vein that might go with these nicknames or any totally new suggestions? and they don't all have to be conventional pairings...I invented some of these pairings or at least i haven't heard them paired before!

Oo, some of those are really interesting! I love Azaria nn Aria. And while I don't like Angel, I'd have never noticed it from Evangeline, so that's quite neat.

    Others:
    Jonquil- Jonny
    Lavender - Ven
    Olympia - Pia
    Scarlett - Scout
    Ursula - Sully
    Temperance - Pepper
    Tabitha - Bit/ Bitty
    Winifred - Fred/Freddie
    Eleanor- Noor
    Catherine - Cricket
    Aurelia - Ari

Well, I'm naming my baby Estelle. Nicknames for that could be Elle or Stella, or even Estie. Elle and Stella could definitely be stand alone names, and Estie is very quirky, sweet and spunky!

I really love these from your list:

PippaPenelope -- though I prefer Nell as a nickname because I don't understand where Pippa comes from
ElfieDelphine -- I love Delly for this too
    Sol...Isolde -- I would also love Izzy
    Trixie....Beatrix

Others you may like that I think are elegant:

Cassandra -- Cass, Cassie, Cassia, Sandy, Sandra
    Victoria -- Vicky, Tori, Ria
    Genevieve -- Eve, Evie
    Guinevere -- Gwen
Rebecca -- Becks -- it's not the most elegant but I think Becks is super spunky

    Jocelyn -- Lynnie
    Francesca -- Chess, Chessa
    Arabella -- Ari, Bell, Bella
    Arianna -- Ari
    Arielle -- Ari
    Amelia -- Mila
    Silviana -- Silvie

Luciana -- Luce (like loose), Lux, Lucy
    Anastasia -- Stasia, Annie
    Alexandria -- Xandra

I plan to return with more (I'm on my phone right now) but I immediately thought of Juniper nn Berry, and I'm reading a book with a character named Penelope that is almost always called Poppet, which I think is cute, especially on a little girl.
