    Honoring my great grandmother?!

My great grandmother, whom I was very close to passed away at the age of 93, when I was 17. Her name was Ola Cora.. I can't use Cora because a cousin just named her baby that. I'm looking for anyway to honor her name.. I'm stumped.. Thanks in advance!!

What does Ola Cora mean? Perhaps you can exchange the name for something else that means the same thing.

    Well, Cora means maiden.

    More 'maiden' names:

    Ella
    Corrina
    Immy (Imogen nn Immy?)
    Riva
    Ethel
    Arwen
    Corinne
    Maida/Mayda

Ola has a different meaning, which I can't really fine any names for.

    Names that sound similar??

    Ola:

    Olivia
    Olive

Maybe use Ola or a name like Cora (Norah, etc) as a middle name??

    ~Jasmine
    Jude, blackbird.

    Amelia \//\ Goldy \//\ Halcyon /\\/ Hero \//\ Frances /\\/ Marian \//\ Olive /\\/ Poppy \//\ Robin

My great grandmother was the 9th out of 10 children, she told me that her mother let her neighbor/friend name her. First name Ola and middle name Cora is what she got, lol! I know that Ola means ancestor and Cora means maiden..

Perhaps there is a particular attribute about her that you like and you can use that as a starting point
