Spence?
I'm really liking the name Spence lately. I like Spencer, but I think Spence is edgier and really handsome. Do you think it works as a complete name? Also, what middle do you think goes best with it? Here are some other examples of names I like below...
Milo
Finn
Noble
Sage
Hawke
Parke
Callum
Theodore / Theo
Thatcher
Atticus
Atlas
Grey / Grae
Levi
Liam
Truett / True
Thayer
Sutton
Cael
North
Crew
Foster
Fielder
Arrow
Bowen
etc.
What do you guys think? Any good combos with Spence there? Any suggestions?

I like the idea of using by itself; however, I do think you will constantly be correcting people who will assume Spencer is his full name. If that bothers you, don't do it. If it doesn't bother you, I say go for it! I really like the way Spence flows. I like Spence Levi and Spence Foster out of your choices. I think you should definitely steer away from one syllable middle names if you do a one syllable fn - it just sounds incomplete.

I personally prefer Spencer--I absolutely love Spencer, it's on my own list, and I would probably just use the full Spencer, Spence just seems sort of incomplete to me. Although it is a bit weird, a bit before I saw this post I actually just came across the sibset of two brothers, Spence (just Spence) and Theo. I thought that was interesting, haha. So Spence Theodore is my first idea, or even Spence Theo, but I really like the idea of Spence Atticus from the names on your list.
Good luck!Ashley

On a side note, my name is Jessi and people constantly assume my fn is Jessica (especially since my mom spelled it with just an i rather than an ie ending). I corrected people quite often, although it didn't bother me much. "Just Jessi" became a constant saying in my vocabulary. But what did bother me was people misspelling it. It's always spelled Jessie or Jesse. So finally I just started going by Jess at work to avoid the misspellings.
