    Expecting third child, need help!

Hi! This is my first time posting on nameberry, but I have been lurking around for a while. I am Erica, and my husband is Ben. We have two children, twins, who are 3 years old. They are Clark Benjamin and Ottilie Isobel Scout. We are expecting a third child in the middle of November and are keeping the gender a surprise! My husband and I have the same sort of naming style, but have a lot of trouble narrowing down the names that we love.

This is our criteria... We would like our baby's first name to be vintage and a little spunky, like our older two. Also not too popular. We would prefer if the first name sounds complete (not nick-namey), and wouldn't be easily nicknamed. We are using family names for the middle if it is a boy, and for the first middle name if it is a girl. It is a tradition in my husbands family for girls to have two middle names, so for the second middle name we will just pick something we love!

    Family names we can use:
    Samuel
    Alexander
    Michael
    Leo
    Adrian
    Parker
    David

    Elisabeth
    Gwendolyn
    Pearl
    Irene
    Madeleine
    Antoinetta
    Patricia
    Joan
    May

    Possible first names:
    Desmond
    Arlo
    Roland
    Oliver
    August
    Reid
    Dashiell
    Arthur
    Soren
    Henry
    Rhett
    Miles

    Lydia
    Mabel
    Olive
    Emmy
    Louisa
    Tessa
    Vera
    Felicity
    Miranda
    Charlotte
    Lena
    Eloise
    Amelia
    Alice
    Greta
    Nora
    Harriet
    Maeva
    Annabel

    Second middle names:
    Blythe
    Kateri
    Aspen
    Delphine
    Azure
    Wren
    Poppy
    Harper
    Tatum
    Juniper
    Lark
    Avalon
    Nellie
    Bellamy

Okay... looking at all this it seems really complicated! If you could help in any way - narrowing down the lists, making combinations... it would really help us! Thank you.

Oh, and I forgot to mention our last name starts with a T and is 2 syllables. We have found that it goes well with most names.

    Clark Ottilie and...

Desmond - I don't think this fits well, sorry.
Arlo David, Arlo Michael, Parker, all sounds good!
Roland Michael, Roland Parker, not as good as Arlo though!
Oliver - Love the name but I don't think Oliver and Ottilie sound goof together, sorry
    August Parker, August Alexander
Reid Alexander - Thats very handsome!
Dashiell - not keen on this one sorry!
Arthur David, Arther Leo could work well
Soren David, Soren Alexander - is very nice!
Henry Parker, Henry Leo both sound nice, this on isn't as spunky or unusual as the rest, although it is very handsome and vintage!
Rhett - not keen on this one sorry!
Miles Parker, Miles Alexander, Miles David, I think this sounds good with all the middle names you've listed, I'm a big fan!

For the second middle name I'll use the names you've listed

Lydia Alice Pearl, Lydia Olive May
Mabel - not keen on this one, I don't think it has the same feel as Ottilie and Clark
Olive - Ottilie and Olive? Hmm, that is very cute actually! Olive Annabel Pearl is precious!
Emmy - perhaps short for something, not overly keen on nickname-y names! Emily? Emilia?
Louisa Madeleine Pearl, Louisa Gwendolyn May?
Tessa Anne Pearl is gorgeous! Tessa Elizabeth Alice is beautiful too!
    Vera Eloise May!
    Felicity Elizabeth May! Beautiful!
    Miranda Alice Pearl?
Charlotte Alice May or Charlotte Elizabeth May are both beautiful
    Lena Antoinetta sounds really sophisticated!
    Eloise Harriet Antoinetta
    Amelia Elizabeth May
    Alice Felicity Pearl?
Greta Annebel Joan is very pretty too!
    Nora Annabel Pearl
    Harriet Louisa May
    Maeva Joan May
    Annabel Elisabeth May

    I think all these names are absolutely gorgeous apart from the ones I've said otherwise, judging off your list heres some suggestions;
    Verity
    Marianna
    Ellony
    Amelie
    Cleo
    Azalea
    Esther
    Freya
    Martha

    Congratulations and good luck!
    My Favorite Names

I like Soren Michael and Soren Alexander as well as Rhett David and Rhett Parker! I think those might be my top two boys names, although I do LOVE Arlo. Do you think it clashes too much with Clark?

For girls, I like Vera Elisabeth Lark, Maeva Gwendolyn Blythe, Harriet Louisa May, Amelia Pearl Juniper, and Miranda Irene Lark. I definitely have more trouble with girls. I think my favorite might be Vera but my husband loves Tessa and Nora.

I also like the suggestions of Peter and Freya!

Thank you, it is refreshing to get some outsiders points of views because my naming style is a lot different from most of my friends... any more comments would be great!

    Boys:
    Arthur David
    Arthur Leo
    August Parker
    Roland Alexander

    Girls
    Vera Elisabeth Delphine
    Miranda Irene Blythe
    Vera Gwendolyn Blythe
Harriet May Bellamy (LOVE, Clark, Ottilie, and Harriet are perfect together)
    Harriet Irene Blythe

You have so many gorgeous names on your list. I think I'd avoid Rhett, with a sibling named Clark, I'd wonder if their parents had a bit of a Clark Gable fixation. I love Desmond, but not so much with Clark and Ottilie. Same with Miles, just feels blah alongside sibling names.

I think Roland fits best with your set from the boys list. I love Arlo, Oliver and Arthur, but when I say them aloud with Ottilie the two names run together a bit, which makes me think of when you're introducing them you may stumble a little at the end.

For girls, I like Mabel, Greta and Vera. I'd have gone with Olive, but I have the same problem there as with the vowel boys names.

What about Clark Benjamin, Ottilie Isobel Scout and...
    Henry Parker
    Miles Adrian
Nora Elisabeth Delphine (I like the sound of Harper, but wondered if this would be too "To Kill A Mockingbird" with sister's second middle Scout)
    or
    Alice Gwendolyn Lark
