Need help with Henry!
I just found out we are having a boy! I am thrilled because I really wanted a boy as my first child. The problem is the last four months I was convinced I was having a girl because that is all I dreamed about. Therefore I have no boy names picked out and I think it is so hard. I truly love the name Henry and we keep going back to it. I had one friend tell me this was not a strong name but I don't agree. Then someone else told me everyone would call him Hank. What are your thoughts... Also wat do you think for these middle names?
Henry Cale
Henry Roran
Henry Grey
Any views would be appreciated!

I absolutely love Henry! Why does he need a nn? Most nns are around the same length as just Henry, anyway, and I think it's so much more appealing than Harry or Hank (although I do see the appeal of both). It's such a classic, timeless, charming name. I met a Henry today and I couldn't stop grinning, haha, I really love the name and I love seeing it used. Henry Grey is my favorite of your combos, but I quite like Henry Cale, as well (although I would prefer Henry Calvin or Henry Caleb, personally).
Good luck!Ashley

Henry is hip: http://nameberry.com/blog/classic-bo...r-it-for-henry.
An additional pairing you might consider is Henry Oliver.

I've never known a Henry called Hank personally...I wasn't even aware it was a nickname for Henry. Lol.
Henry's a classic and great name, stick to your guns!
I like Henry Cale, but Henry Grey is dashing imo. Roran is too trippy with the double Rs and the R in Henry.
As a suggestion, I think I'd like Henry Greyson a bit more than Henry Grey, but I still think it's dashing.2O - Aries - Slytherin - Daycare Assistant Teacher
