Need help with combo's and some fresh inspiration
Hi, I’m expecting baby number 3 in 5 weeks and am in need of some opinions/inspiration on our name list so far. We are struggling, with the 1st two we had a middle name that was very special to us and worked around it, but not this time.
I have a 1st and middle name list and would love some suggestions on combinations. I also want to make sure the name “goes” well with our first two – Joseph Stanley and Alice Nonie.
Open to other suggestions for 1st names in the same style. Middle names are all family names so we are a bit limited there. Surname starts with D and sounds completely ridiculous with any “D” names.
We just can’t find a name we “love”. The only girls name we both really love is Josie, but for obvious reasons that is out......just wish we realised we loved it before naming our son Joseph...oops.
First names (in rough order of preference):
Holly
Amy (but we can’t agree on spelling I want Amy, he wants Aimee)
Sophie
Hannah
Zoe
Middle names:
Charlotte
Eliza
Anne
Elizabeth
Sandra (Mum’s name, but we aren’t overly fussed on it......I’m sure she understands)
Thanks in advance

I love Amy! Amy is my favourite.
Amy Charlotte
Amy Elizabeth
Amy Lysandra (see what I did there? lol) or Amy Alessandra
Holly Elizabeth
Holly Eliza
Holly Anne
Hannah Charlotte
Don't let him spell it Aimee! Amy is so classic and simple resist the urge to gild the lily.
Those are the ones I like best.
Other names in the same style... sweet, simple names that aren't hard to explain?
Phoebe
Claire
Ivy
Naomi
Molly
Zara

First names:
Holly-I like this name. Its ok.
Amy-Amy is pretty either way, but I think you'll have more luck if you spell it Amy (guessing you live in the US)
Sophie-I adore this name! So pretty.
Hannah-I really love this name, too. I also like that its simple and beautiful, just like Joseph (handsome in his case) and Alice.
Zoe-Very cute, but a bit different than Joseph and Alice.
Middle names:
Charlotte
Eliza
Anne
Elizabeth
Sandra
-All of your middle names are good names and I love that they're family names. If I were picking from this list, I think I'd choose Sophie Elizabeth or Hannah Charlotte.Current loves: Theodore & Rosalind
Mommy to Arabella and Jude

I think Sophie & Hannah sound nicest with Joseph & Alice - not sure if you are fussed about that, though.
With your middle name options, I like Sophie Anne or Sophie Elizabeth or Hannah Elizabeth.
To my ear, Sandra doesn't flow that nicely with your first name options because of the vowel ending on all of them. What about using a variation of Sandra ie. Sandrine ?
Side note: My mom's name is also Sandra and my sister used Cassandra for her youngest's mn to honor her (although that vowel ending doesn't really change the way it would sound with your fn options!)
Good luck!
