Name for the Second Child - Girl Name

We were blessed without first child in October 2011 and now number 2 in due this October 2012. (One week apart). My wife came up with a great name for our first little girl, which is Scarlett Marie Payne. We are having great difficulty with the next little girls’ name.

Currently my wife is in love with the name Sloane; I don’t share her feelings about the name. I just don’t like it. We were both considering Adele for the middle name, nothing in stone yet. The issue we keep running into is that our last name is Payne which sounds like pain. So certain names that would normally work just don’t flow with the last name. I like Victoria.

Any feedback is welcome and appreciated. I won’t take it personally.

Hi and welcome to Nameberry! Scarlett is a wonderful, feminine name and I think that Little Sister deserves to have it to I'm not particularly fond of Sloan unfortunately. How about Adele as a first name? I love Victoria (great name!) but it feels a bit 'older' than Scarlett, which feels very contemporary.

    Just some random suggestions:
Scarlett & Julia (my first thought actually)
    Scarlett & Louisa
Scarlett & Adelaide/Adeline (alternatives to Adele)
    Scarlett & Iris
    Scarlett & Lucy
    Scarlett & Annabel
    Scarlett & Alice
    Scarlett & Lydia
    Scarlett & Isla

    Are any suggestions on track?

Currently loving Aziza, Sibel, Persis, Fanise and Timothea | Alistair, Emile, Jarvis, Angus and Inigo among others

My suggestion with be Adele Sloane. I totally agree that Sloane Payne is very abrupt. I also love suggestion of Adelaide.
