Your supermodel names
I don't mean just names models have, which include some very common and approachable ones, or very classic ones.
I mean, you know... those names you love, that you'd use... if only you could guarantee your kid they would have the look to pull them off. Am I the only one with these? Names you find lovely but worry would look funny on a mere-mortal chubby middle-schooler? But I still love them!
Mine are:
Ingrid - which prompted this thread, someone was talking about naming a daughter Ingrid.
Gisele/Giselle
Angelina
Isis - my husband said "we're just too pale and nerdy to have an Isis."
I have some for guys too. It's not that being awkward in high school is fun for anyone ever but there's this special level of hell if you are also named Apollo, I think.
Am I think only one with these sort of unusable-but-great names?

I expect or at least hope to have some fairly attractive children (but who doesn't?) so I'm not sure I would worry about the awkward middle school phase but if I had to pick a name I would expect to see on a bombshell beauty and that I'm not sure my genes could pull off it would be Bérengère or Bérangère.
Josephine Athénaïs - Josephine Ivy - Myriam Athénaïs - Vivienne Josephine
Athena Beatrice - Beatrice Cecile - Eleanor Anne-Sophie -Myriam Beatrice - Meredith ElizabethAmbrose Aristide - Ulysses Aristide

Most of the names on my list are unusual, long and exotic, but I figure they can go either way - either she'll be a drop dead gorgeous Domenica, or she won't be but she'll have the female version of her great grandfather's name. Either a beautiful Phaedra or one that has an ancient name that makes her feel special because she probably won't meet another. Of course, I guess my plans could always backfire because I'm assuming they would fit the name either way. I just hope I have the foresight to avoid a name the general public thinks is ugly unless it's on a supermodel. (And I hope she gets our family's super-tall genes so she could be a supermodel if she wanted to.)
