Thought I'd chime in:
I've been a long-time namenerd; as it turns out, I'm now (rather unexpectedly, but delightfully nonetheless!) also in the mother-to-be category. I'm currently expecting a pair of twins in January 2013.
The twins thing really threw me for a loop when I first found out a few weeks back--though it also explained a lot about my excruciating fatigue and nausea!
Prior to all of this happening, I would have predicted that I'd be in heaven with not one but TWO babies to simultaneously name. However, I've found that since I've been pregnant, my fascination with names has actually seemed to decrease. In fact, I've hardly thought about them at all. Has anyone else experienced a sudden wave of name apathy once you discovered that you're actually expecting?

@cressida- Absolutely!!!! Names that I was sure about a month ago seem suddenly unsatisfying. It's annoying

Totally agree, I was obsessed while ttc, now I'm not really that bothered. I'm sure that'll change when I'm a bit furthur on in the pregnancy though

vintagemoon - you're fine as long as you don't take MASSIVE amounts. I take 200mg a day and its fine, doctor even said that's probably why my symptoms have been a breeze, I started while TTC. Also, it's great for your bowels, TMI but no constipation here! Round ligament pain however, very sore today lol.

Same Cressidia! I am SO glad I got a huge list before because I find I can ditch names easier since I feel like I can connect with some and not others. We are narrowing down our list and I hope to have our top 3 picked out when we find out the sex so we can sit on them for a few months and decide once we meet baby.

I decided to wait to find out if I'm having a boy or a girl before running my ideas for names by all the wonderful berries. That way at least I'm narrowed down to one list - it seems less daunting. Of course I'm still keeping my mental lists of boys and girls.

Tina - yea that's what I thought, I'll check the recommended dose here tomorrow with the dr.
We aren't gonna find out the sex so will have 2 shortlists eventually & will probably not chose till we see our little one

OMG vintagemoon - I couldn't do that! The browsing I have done already it seems so little is gender neutral too. I picked up some baby suede boots to wear home from the hospital already though
we're using them for our announcement photo so we had to pick something. Everything is either super boyish or super girly. I don't like that. If we have a girl she won't be all pink.

Tina - I've never wanted to find out, personally I like the idea of the surprise for everyone after the birth, luckily dh agrees! I would always have done a fairly neutral nursery anyway as like you I'm not keen on really girly/boyish. From looking around for things for friends baby's there's a fairly good selection here, at least to get us through the 1st few days

Meanwhile here I am in America doing every old wives tale in the book to try and guess what we are having lol. Maybe stuff here is just more gender heavy, which I don't like. So far we have a pair of suede newborn boots, a pair of orange plaid sneakers for 3-6 months (they were $2) and a green onesiie that as R2D2 on it and says "Artoo cute"... I love it lol. Our baby's first outfit so far is Star Wars onsie and suede boots. That's totally my kid!
