I love all the names on your list! Aaron stands out as one of my ultra-favorite boy names. I strongly considered suggesting Aaron to my husband for our second son, but decided not to in light of the fact that it sounds the same as Erin. I have known more Erins than Aarons, and I did not want him to experience anyone mistaking him for a girl upon hearing the name. I would not hesitate to use it as a middle name though.

So, even though, Aaron is my very favorite, I vote for Benjamin Thomas - wonderful name!! I do like Charles too, but more as a middle name.

BTW, I just love your older son's name Samuel. Grace, Samuel, and Benjamin are a great sibset.
Mother of three teenagers: (1) Daniel Glen, (2) Timothy Austin, and (3) Rebecca Jane... all middle names honor family... 3rd generation mn Jane. (A second girl would have been Susanna Eve and a third boy, maybe Isaac...)

I think Benjamin fits best with Samuel and Charles/Charlie fits best with Sam. So, I would go with Benjamin.

I like Benjamin Thomas but also like the name Charles. I don't think Charles Thomas rolls off the tongue as easily, though. I don't think there's any reason you have to match the kid names so closely as to call one by a nickname and the other not.

I may be in the minority, but I think Aaron would really be nice with your children's names.
