do we need a nickname?
I am trying to convince myself that even though our three sons have a full formal name and a everyday nickname, I can give a prospective baby boy a name that doesn't have a nickname...but it isn't working so what would you do?
My husband just shrugs and says he doesn't care either way but I can't get it out of my head!!!
I love Hugo and think that Teddy, Max, Gus (who gets called August half the time anyway) and Hugo sound really good together!Edward Paxton "Teddy", Maxwell Tennyson "Max", August Sawyer "Gus", Charles Ellington "Charlie" and
Genevieve Matilda Mae "Evie Mae"

i LOVE Max, Teddy and Gus! My son is Max, and we are having another little boy soon, and Teddy and Gus are both on my list! but Max is just Max, not short for anything, so I guess I am sort of into nickname names

I think Hugo goes good with your other sons.. but if yorue looking for a more formal name with a nickname option, have you thought of Leo? people keep telling me that Max and Leo are great togheter, so thought this option might work with you, as there are a few options to get to the nickname Leo
good luck!

Hmmm I love nickname names too...but when we had Teddy I loved the name so much but it just seemed silly by itself so we went for Edward nn Teddy and then Max came along and I just loved Max and Teddy together so he was just going to be Max but a week before he was born my hubby's best mate was killed in a car crash...his last name was Maxwell so we went with that...and I guess Gus just came naturally from August but I love that people call him August as well

I love Leo...its a definite possibility. Harrison is the other possibility...Leo and Harry work much better than Hugo and Harry!
Thanks
