Vienna
Charlotte
Carolina
Verona
Paris (although I prefer Parisa! I think Ari, Ris/Reese, and Pari/Perry/Peri are cute nns for it, too)
London (love the nn Lola for this!)
Ashley ( There's an Ashley, PA, a couple hours from me, and a Natalie, PA, not too far from that. My sister and I got a kick out of the fact that there were two towns in our state that shared our names!)
Geneva
Lisieux (hometown of St. Therese of Lisieux--she was quite a fabulous lady!)
Georgia (although I prefer Georgiana immensely!)
Sequoia (do names for national parks count?)
Alaska (although it seems a bit GPish)
Montana (heard this years ago, and I absolutely loved it! Too trendy for me now, but I think Annie/Anna is a sweet nn for it)

Bolivia (I've only liked it because it's so close to Olivia, which is a huge favorite of mine! I think the nns Liv and Via are really sweet)
Sicily (although I prefer Cecily, which is similar in sound, but not really a place name at all...)
Milan (or Milana/Milena?)

Sofia (I've always wanted to see Sofia, Bulgaria because of the name of it's capital! haha)
Athens (I went to college with a girl named Athens... I've always loved it so much more than Athena! It seems more down-to-earth and relate-able. Athena has always felt a bit more pretentious to me...)

Louisiana (Lulu or Lucy might be a fun nn!)
Genoa (she could be Gen/Genny/Ginny or Noa?)
Libya (this always felt sort of usable to me, since it's so close to Lydia, although I think Lydia's way more usable)
Scotia (for Nova Scotia? Or even Nova itself?)
Arizona (don't love it personally, but I do love the nn Ari!)
Ceará (a state in Brazil--I went there during my senior spring break in high school for a mission trip, it's such a beautiful place, but so sad because it's the poorest state in the country. The people--and children, gah, the children!--were so wonderful there, though. I think Ceará looks so much prettier than Sierra, personally, and they're said the same!)
Siena
Merida (apparently a place in Mexico? I keep coming back to the character from Brave, and I absolutely love the name, but I just now realized it's a place name...)
