I adore Penelope! I think they chose amazingly! But Scotland feels forced, like they couldn't find a better way to honor Scott. I've never been fond of place names, especially if they for have a personal meaning or significance.

I think Penelope will jump even higher in popularity now, which may be a downfall for some of us berries who love the name !

I love the name Penelope (am actually quite surprised that they went with such a classic choice) but Scotland? Ugh. Love the place but that is just not a name. Penelope Scott would have actually been a whole lot better or even Penelope Scottie.

I actually really like it. I agree that Scotland is rather forced...but maybe I only like the combo because I was expecting so much worse.

I don't know much about this family but I am surprised by this choice. I was expecting a slicker
, glamorous M name...maybe Melania, Milena, Magda or even Moxie?

To me Penelope feels a little clunky/frumpy? I think nn Lo or Lola might be what they use.

I think they should've used Scottie as a first name.

I was expecting her to carry on with 'M' names, glad she didn't though. Penelope's nms but it's not a bad name, far better than what I thought she'd go for, something trendy and popular like Mason. Not keen on Scotland, it doesn't work for me and there's far nicer ways to get Scott into the name than that.

I admit I don't follow them regularly, but for some reason I thought the girls in the family always got K names, so I was really surprised to hear Penelope! Granted I quite like Penelope, but I agree with many pp's, Scotland is rather unfortunate

Kourtney's mom did that for her daughters, Kourtney, Kimberly, Khloe, Kendall, Kylie. Probably would've done it for her son Robert, if her husband's name was a K. Robert's a JR.

Well, it looks like Penelope is off the list now, Tina Fey using it would give it a boost, but a Kardashian? It will blow up in popularity, just like Mason is now #2. Hello, Persephone!!
