My favourite flowers are probably Jonquil/daffodils, iris, daisies of assorted types, violas, and some others that don't make good names like hydrangeas and hellebores.
As far as names, my favourites are: Viola and Violet, Iris, Rosemary, Lilac, Zinnia, Azalea, Marguerite, Veronica, Marigold, Jessamine, Tansy, Magnolia, Bryony, Rue, and Amaryllis.
As far as other languages words for flowers, I'm fondest of Susannah/Shoshana which mean lily or rose depending on ancient or modern Hebrew, Roisin which is rose in Gaelic, Raizel which is rose in Yiddish, Tamar which is date palm, and Kezia which is cinnamon tree.
As much as I like the flowers I wouldn't use Rose or Daisy as names and probably not Lily either.
