    Names to honor Lynn

My mom and my sister's middle names are both Lynn, and I'd like to honor them, but I don't like Lynn by itself. Suggestions?

My first thought was Linden, which I used to really like for a girl. I'm still a bit fond of it.

    Otherwise, maybe ...

Linda (I think this is pretty, but it does sound rather dated.)
    Lena
    Lillian / Lilian
    Lindsay
    Lynette / Linnet
    Linnea

I suppose anything ending in -Lyn or -Lynn might work as well, but there are so many of those and I tend personally not to like them very much, so I won't list them.

As someone has suggested, names like Kaitlyn or Emmalyn could easily honor someone without using them directly

I'd considered honoring Lynn too, since my SO's sister is Lynn.

    Ideas were:
    Ashlyn
Berlin; SO's of German Heritage and very patriotic. He'd suggested it as a middle name, and I like it.

Thanks!! I had thought about Brooklynn too, since my sister actually lives in Brooklyn, so that would be cool.
Also, Quinn, Lake and Lena are sticking out to me.

There was a character named Lynetta in a book I read. Linnea/Lynea is really pretty. Basically anything ending on -lyn would work. Good luck!
