Oh my goodness, that sounds even more uncomfortable! I hope that was towards the beginning of your pregnancy!

It was cooler there than anywhere else and I had a mattress on the floor so it was passable but not something you forget, but I had my baby girl about six weeks later.

PS I had a major stomach op when 13 weeks pregnant so I was happy to reach 38 weeks but I didn't appreciate the heatwave. But remember we girls are strong, we survive, so you will be okay, and I can't wait to read about it in the Birth Announcements.

I hope your little one decides to make an appearance soon! I remember this time last year I was in exactly the same position and I was desperate for relief. I was miserable and begging my boys to come out and I didn't even have other kids to take care of! I honestly couldn't say which was worst: the last 3 weeks of pregnancy or the actual labor. The doctors could tell that I was so desparate that they tried to stimulate labor for me (not induction but a swipe) and that didn't work. I remember standing in the shower, literally crying, hoping it would all be over soon. I am so empathetic for you. I remember the sense of relief when my induction was scheduled. Knowing there was a definite end was SO helpful. (I must have relaxed after that because they decided to come on their own the day after we got the appointment.) Hang in there. I know it doesn't feel like it now, but soon it will all be a distant memory and you'll have your little one in your arms!
