some opinions on my list please :)
Hello Everyone,
My name is Polly and this is my first time posting here… I’ve been lurking for ages but I’m in a slight pickle. My husband Jack and I have 3 boys, Teddy (Edward Paxton) is 6, Max (Maxwell Tennyson) is 4 and Gus (August Sawyer) is 2.
My pickle is this, we had our 3 boys and decided that they were enough for us and then we got the surprise of our lives…twins! Our boys were all very much a plan…we found out what we were having and they were all named well before they arrived, but since the twins were not so planned we thought it would be interesting to not find out what we are having, so I guess I need some help with names!
Girls names are a problem...I love so many its crazy! I would like you opinions on my list and any other suggestions you think might go with the names I already have.
Girls List:
Maisie
Lila
Evie
Sadie
Edie
Thisbe
Lottie
Scout
Emmy
Avery
Willow
Gemma
Sophie
Grace
Ruby
Violet
Amelia
Ivy
If we have 2 girls I don't mind them not having nicknames but if it's a girl and a boy I think it would be nice to have all the kids with a full name and a nickname
Thanks in advance, sorry for going on and on,
Polly
P.S. Boys list is in the boy name forum

Edward Paxton "Teddy", Maxwell Tennyson "Max", August Sawyer "Gus", Charles Ellington "Charlie" and
Genevieve Matilda Mae "Evie Mae"
My brood of blonde haired babes, we have a thing for nicknames!

Maisie - Too cutesy.
Lila - Meh.
Evie - I like this as a nn, maybe for Evelyn.
Sadie - Love!
Edie - Again, I like it as a nn. Eden, Edith, something else?
Thisbe - NMS.
Lottie - Don't like at all.
Scout - Really don't like.
Emmy - Maybe as a nn but there are SO many Emmys and related names out there.
Avery - Like better on a boy.
Willow - NMS but ok.
Gemma - Like it.
Sophie - Like, too popular for me though.
Grace - Meh. Kinda boring TBH.
Ruby - Love!
Violet - Cute.
Amelia - Like!
Ivy - NMS.Top 10 girl's names: Serena * Audrey * Sienna * Bridget * Lucy * Hazel * Cordelia * Josephine * Claire * Alice
Top 10 boy's names: Elliott * Callum * Theodore * Emmett * Nolan * Ian * Blake * Brennan * Adrian * Everett

Your boys have great names! Obviously I'm partial to the name Edie as it's my own
Edie & Maisie
Edie & Evie (I would not fully recommend this combo but one of my flatmates is named Evie, and while it can get confusing I also think it's sweet)
Edie & Thisbe
Edie & Sadie
I also love Gemma & Sophie, Gemma & Ruby, or Sophie & Sadie
Any ideas about what names you would use for boys?
Congratulations and good luck!!

I'm commenting on the choices I really like.
Lila (I adore most of the Lil- names and this is no exception)
Evie (One of my favorite nn's and it would be cute with the boys)
Edie (I can never find a long form of this name that I love as much as I love Evie)
Thisbe (LOVE! It would probably jive better as a mn, though.)
Lottie (Charlotte could be a full name if you need it)
Emmy (Perhaps short for Emmeline?)
Sophie (adorable name)
Ruby (So cute with the boys' names)
Violet (nn Vivi, yes please!)
Amelia (I really like this name and would use Mia as a possible nn)
With the boys, I think Sophie, Violet, Amelia, and Ruby are my favorites of your list. If I think of any suggestions, I'll be back, but I love a lot of your current list.Current loves: Theodore & Rosalind
Mommy to Arabella and Jude

Love your boys' names!
Maisie- know 2 dogs with this name
Lila- pretty
Evie- more of a nn and is it eh-vee or ee-vee?
Sadie- know 2 dogs with this name
Edie- cute
Thisbe- LOVE!!!
Lottie- too nicknamey
Scout- cute for kid but not for grown woman
Emmy- like it but maybe spelled Emme?
Avery- too popular and in the vein of Madison, Kendall, McKenzie, etc
Willow- pretty
Gemma- LOVE!!!
Sophie- too close to Sophia which is too popular
Grace- too plain
Ruby- LOVE!!!
Violet- LOVE!!!
Amelia- like alot
Ivy- LOVE!!!
Edward (Teddy), Maxwell (Max), August (Gus) and Thisbe and Gemma look the most sophisticated, yet somehow, still cute and youthful, which is a perfect combo IMO!
