Help! Already used my two faves--what next??

    Hello all,
I am in need of help. I'm 19 weeks and although I have time, not having even the slightest idea as to what to name this little one is driving me mad. I have two sons, Simon Christopher and Roman Zachary. My last name is Morgan, which tends to make things difficult with it sounding like a first name. If this is a little girl (fingers crossed), her name will be Willa. It's been my favorite since I was 17. A boy's name is where my husband and I are struggling. His faves are not my mine and vice versa. Here is a tentative list. Please give opinions, suggestions, etc.
    Thanks!!

    Finn
    Finlay
    Bennet
    August
    Lincoln
    Emmerson

There are many other names that I love that my husband as put the kabash on --like Jasper-- but, I guess this is his kid too ; )

    Thanks again,
    Becca

Really loving Bennet! Bennet Morgan is a great name.

Be mindful of this next choice, should it be a boy. You already have two names that end in the 'en' sound. If you add a 3rd such as Lincoln or Emmerson, you will definitely have a pattern that will be obvious and may be hard to break!

Bennett (this spelling) and August are my favourites with your surname. I like Finlay too but he may have to share his name with girls named Finley. Here are some other suggestions.

    Eli
    Blake
    Riley
    Asher
    Reid/Rhys
    Jude
    Everett
    Hugh
    Neil
    Quincy
    Elliot
    Wesley
    Grant
    Charles
    David
    Archer
    Douglas
    Asa
    Wyatt
    All the best,
    Mischa.

I would do lincoln or emmerson to match the "n" ending names of your other 2 sons with bennet as a middle.
Natacha - mother to Geneva Simone
a site that surveys people with the same name.

    Current Favs:
    Boys: Archer Sloan or Merrick
    Girls: Indira Maren or Sloan

I agree with the previous poster that you should keep the "n" ending for your boys.

    I would suggest:
    Ian
    Parlen
    Perrin
    Galen
    Olin
    Oren

I also agree with the 'n' ending! I personally love the name Lincoln on a boy. One thing to consider with Emmerson is that it is also becoming popular among girls. Also, I would be wary of people trying to shorten it into a nickname likely ending up with Em, which is pretty feminine.

I like all of your names except Bennet and Emmerson. I believe the correct spelling is Emerson, I may be wrong though. I don't care for it either way though.

Here's the order I like your names:
    1. Lincoln
    2. August
    3. Finn
    4. Finlay
    5. Emerson
    6. Bennet

Thanks so much for all of the input! I agree with everything you all said. I have heard many Emmerson's and Finley's on girls and I'm not all that into unisex names. I love the name William and it is a family name, but it's more common than I would like to use- what do you ladies think? I love Bennett- my only hesitation is that my husband's brother's name is Ben. Wondering if this could be weird....
Thanks again for all your advice!
