I voted for Genevieve because I like it much better. However, I think both Genevieve and Annabel go just fine with your other children's names.

i know it is not important, but i really like how Caroline, Nicholas & Annabel look together!
it's probably the 'n's and 'l's and 'a's in all names! i am a sucker for this kind of thing,
so Annabel would definitely be my choice. For me this is a perfect sibset.

I like the nn possibilities with Genevieve (Gen, Evie, Eve, Neve) much more than with Annabel (Anna I love but not a fan of Annie, Ann or Belle). Also, Annabel makes me think of the hugely popular Isabelle/Isabella.
I think both names sound nice with siblings.

    BTW: 3 syllables - gen-uh-veeve or 4 syllables - gen-uh-vee-ehv ?

I like Annabel as all children have the letter "L" which visually links the names.
I think Annabel and Genevieve are both lovely.
What do you think of the nn Gen? cause I suspect as a teen she may end up Gen.

I think both sound nice with Caroline so I would not look for others opinions, go with your gut. if you feel you really love genevieve more then don't worry about the birth certificate change but if you really love annabel but are concerned with style then i wouldn't worry about it. i would never in a million years think that annabel and caroline sounded odd. i don't think this is a decision someone else can help with because it is truly your personal preference as both are nice/sound nice with your other kids. with my first i named her something and 3 days later in the hospital switched bc my gut just told me too.

Annabel [and] Caroline [and] Genevieve are three-syllable "feminine" [as opposed to "feminissima" or "no-frills"] names; therefore, they are technically equivalent.
