Smile Baby is 1 week and a half and I am undecided!!!! Please help.

    Hi all,

So we had settled on Annabel Victoria Hyde but I am still uncertain. I am still loving Genevieve and am wondering stylistically and timeless wise if it goes better with my other kid's names, Caroline and Nicholas.

I think somehow Genevieve and Caroline might be better suited than Annabel and Caroline but honestly I am not sure. Would you please help me as I think this 3rd child of mine might end up with an amendment to her birth certificate after all.

    Thanks.

    Kate

Annabel fits just fine with Caroline and Nicholas.
There's no need to change it imo.

I agree, Annabel just feels perfect with Nicholas and Caroline to me. But if you're still having doubts, I think Genevieve Hyde is a great name. Do you think she looks more like one than the other? Would nicknames sway you one way or the other? Do you plan on having more children, or is this your last? If you're planning to have more in the future, I would just save Genevieve.

    Good luck!

I think Annabel is the better fit. It's also the more expected choice, in my opinion.
I love both names & would probably be in the same situation as you!

It sounds like you have your heart set on Genevieve, and are settling for Annabel. I think you should go with what your gut tells you. Both are pretty names, but Annabel seems slightly frilly compared to Caroline and Nicholas.

I feel as though Annabel is just as flowy with Caroline, if not more so than Genevieve. The more important thing, for me, is the flow with the last name. Annabel Hyde is gorgeous <3 Genevieve Hyde doesn't do it for me ... sorry I do love the name Genevieve though, and I understand why you love!

Genevieve definitely goes better with Caroline and Nicholas stylistically. It's more classic whereas Annabel is very trendy right now.

I agree with you! I consider Genevieve more classic and Annabel trendy. But maybe it differs form where you live. Either would be lovely. The poll suggests the same. So go with your gut feeling!

    Good luck!

Hmm. I actually find Genevieve a lot more trendy, and Annabel more classic. I also think Annabel sounds much better in the sibset, and with the surname Hyde.

I definitely would not change it.
