My favorites on your list are Layla and Shiloh. I also really like Darby and Casper for girls.

    Rory

Rory is a name -- in the UK a boys' name but in the US used equally for both sexes -- it its own right and does not need to be lengthened or changed into anything else. I do think both Shiloh and Jolie have very strong Brangelina associations. And Madden to me is football video games -- so macho and then, yes, shortened to the oh-so-ordinary Maddy. So I think you can do better.

Have you clicked on the Unisex Names tab on our home page? http://nameberry.com/search/unisex_names This will give you THOUSANDS of ideas.

    Devon
    Domino
    Dylan
    Elliot
    Flannery
    Gardener
    Hartley
    Haven
    Hollis
    Indigo
    Jensen
    Juniper

    Norris
    Oakley
    Raleigh
    Remi
    Romy
    Quinn
    Sheridan

Let us know what you think. And if he just grunts in response to all those, send him over to my house for a lecture.
I have to laugh at your comment because I just suggested a few from your list and he said hmmm. I told him I'm going to hit him over the head with the iPad! I guess I'll name the baby in my own

Thank you I love all the suggestions! Roe I love. Monroe nn Roe is one of my fav fav but Mariah ruined that for me. Hartley is cute too but of course he is not jumping out of his seat on anything. To answer a few questions, I am not necessarily looking for unisex names just names that are different and not the classic girls names that I've been seeing. Although I am a fan of many. Oh and thank you for the Presley comment about Elvis teasing I did not think about that I may have to move Presley down a few notches.... Although I do love it!

Hey glad to meet someone who has similar styling too!! I'm not *too* surprised he didn't like Felix... the initial reaction does not seem to be positive for people who like more traditional names. I don't care though because I love it! You guys will find something awesome, I'm sure!

Also.. names might start to grow on him, you know? My other fave name, Harper, was a no-no with my husband a couple of months ago, and now it's growing on him. Sometimes if you hear the name out loud a few times it starts to sound like it belongs and you can really see a child with it.

Masculine names on girls isn't my style however I think pp's suggestions of Quinn,Rory and Rowan are the best and would really work.
I do see Rowan as being completely unisex in all honesty.
Hope you find the right name for you (with or without your hubby's help lol!).
