Alessandra Serenity was my top combo for ages, but then I realized if she ever married a Mr. Spencer and took his last name, her initials would be A.S.S...I then promptly switched to my Alessandra Chloe combo.

However, if she were to have a second middle name then her initials wouldn't be a problem. So I'm now on a quest to find a good second, or first, middle for Alessandra Serenity.

Suggestions?

One or two syllables.
Alessandra is four, and Serenity is also 4, so I think one or two is the most I can get away with.

Serenity and Chloe seem a bit mismatched, and the same ee ending is meh.

The only warning I have about this is that second middle names are often dropped, for school and other official documents.

I love that I'm not the only one who has fretted over the A.S.S. initials possibility if my future daughter were to marry a man with an S last name. I brought this up to my DH and he said that I shouldn't worry because our future daughter will be smart enough to hyphenate her maiden name and future husband's name to avoid the A.S.S. initials. If she doesn't hyphen the last names, then she can't blame us for the initials, after all, we wouldn't be signing the marriage license and confirming a legal name change, she would.

That all said, Alessandra Serenity is gorgeous, my suggestion is to switch the first letter A to an E to avoid the whole thing altogether without losing the names you love all over a future SIL.

I would go with Ellessandra Serenity. If Amelia and Emilia works, why not Alessandra/Ellessandra? :-) Good luck!
