I love Susanna Lake! Maybe to avoid the Anna nickname, spell it Susannah. I don't think it's too close to your name and you should go for it! May I ask why Lake is meaningful to you and your Dh? Just curious.

i don't mean to cause an issue but since i am struggling with my second daughter's name, i just want to mention that if you name your daughter susanna, incorporating your name, just give a little thought to what you would do if you have a second daughter. would you feel bad if she didn't get part of your name too? i'm sure there would be a solution but as i said, i am just struggling with a second daughter's name so felt like i should throw this out there so you can think about it now ahead of time...otherwsie i think its fine, after naming my first daughter i realized that the vowels in my name are the same as in my daughter's and i really loved the connection!
