I like both but I LOVE Fiona. I'd consider it for a future daughter but my fiance's last name starts with F and I don't really like the alliteration personally. I think Fiona is pretty and easier to spell (it took me the longest time to spell it Phoebe, not Pheobe! I still have to think about it sometimes.).

I agree with characternamer - choosing Phoebe may set you up for P named child sibling set. Which is not necessarily a bad thing ... just something you may want to consider here.
I have a dd named Fiona. No one has ever asked me if she was named after Shrek. Sure, my older DD's hear her name in the movies, but they also see their own names or names of their friends on tv and in movies too. It has not been a big deal at all. In fact, I get WAY more "Alice in Wonderland" references than "Shrek" references when I mention the twins names.Wife to one great guy
