Lily Aldridge and Caleb Followill welcome a daughter

Victoria's Secret model Lily Aldridge and musician Caleb Followill welcomed Dixie Pearl Followill on June 21st in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dixie has a cousin named Knox Cameron Patrick Followill (b. 2011). Knox's father is Caleb's Kings of Leon bandmate and cousin, Matthew Followill. Caleb's other bandmate and brother, Nathan Followill, and his wife are expecting a baby in December 2012.

I love Pearl but I'm not too crazy about Dixie. I believe Caleb is from Oklahoma so maybe it's to honor his Southern roots. It's certainly on trend as one of those "nicknames as first names".

Yeah, I think Caleb was sticking to his southern roots when they chose Dixie. Caleb was actually born and raised in Tennessee, so I think that probably explains it. I'm not crazy about Dixie either, but Pearl is cute.
