Which middle name goes best with Simon??

We've officially decided on Simon but are having a hard time with the middle name. Narrowed it down to:

    Simon James
    Simon Thomas

Which do you like better and why?

    Thanks!

I prefer Simon James. It sounds lighter and happier than Simon Thomas. (I find 'Thomas' quite a heavy name, for some reason).

I like the names James and Thomas about equally, but -- unless you have a one-syllable last name -- I think James flows a bit better with Simon. If you last name is one-syllable, then I vote for Simon Thomas. If your last name is longer, than I would go with Simon James.
Mother of three teenagers: (1) Daniel Glen, (2) Timothy Austin, and (3) Rebecca Jane... all middle names honor family... 3rd generation mn Jane. (A second girl would have been Susanna Eve and a third boy, maybe Isaac...)

I like Simon Thomas better as a combo, but I individually like James better than Thomas. But, both combos sound good, though my first pick would be Thomas.
